Eme Alfonso is one of the leading voices of the music scene in Cuba. His first artistic steps were in the hands of his parents in Síntesis, the emblematic Cuban band that pioneered the fusion of Afro-Cuban music with rock and jazz. When he finally undertook his own career “sister of X Alfonso” in 2008, he continued to cultivate his facility to amalgamate the rhythms of his Caribbean island with those of other latitudes, but always trying to find his own soun
